Clifford’s Principle and James’s Options (pdf) (December 9, 2004). This is a draft of a paper to appear in a collection about the ethics of belief.
Reasonable Religious Disagreements (pdf) (July 8, 2004). This paper will appear in volume with a title something like “Philosophers Without God.” The volume is intended for a wider audience than just academic philosophers. It is supposed to be at least to some extent a personal statement.
